Hi! My name is Michelle. I’m just a 28-year-old Chinese-American (all pronouns) who talks too much about Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin.

My musical background isn’t as extensive as some. I’ve been playing the piano since I was four years old, with breaks in the middle - a big one from ages 9 to 12 in which I didn’t play at all and another one from ages 14 to 20 in which I only touched the piano occasionally. I’m also a bit of a choir kid, taking it in school in 7th, 8th, 11th, and 12th grades. I also want to play the trombone, but I’m having some trouble obtaining one at the moment.

I’ve liked classical music ever since elementary school music class, but I really got into it around April 2018 when I took a college music history class. I’m still not as knowledgeable about classical music as I hope to be, but I do have a lot of passion for the subject.
